James Edward Clark, 81, of Sandusky passed away July 31, 2025 at Admiral's Pointe Nursing Home.
He was born January 12, 1944 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Edward A. and Bernadine E. (Paule) Clark.
James was a graduate of Perkins High School. He was a proud veteran of The United States Navy, serving during Vietnam as a member of the Seabee Construction Battalion from 1963 – 1966. After his service in the military, he was employed as a Union Bricklayer from 1969 until his retirement in 1982. He was a lifelong member of The American Legion, VFW, and AMVETS. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, a good cold beer, and spending time with his family.
He is survived his children, Edward (Jayne), Keith (Suzi), and Michael (Essy) Clark; 6 grandchildren, Erica, Sara, Jimmy, Ryan, Kerry, and Emily; 6 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Patty (Ronnie) Jolly, Faye Hartley, and Christine Hockenberry; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Beese) Clark; his son, James Jump; and his sisters, Janet and Mary Clark.
At his request, cremation has taken place. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870 is assisting the family with arrangements. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
