James Burl Clark (Jim) was born in Portland, Oregon on June 1, 1942 to father, Herbert E Clark and mother Irene Clark. He grew up in Milwaukee with his parents and siblings-sister Jean, brother Charles, and youngest sister Christina. At a young age he developed a love of cars, especially fast ones, and even went on to a hobby of drag racing! Jim also hunted with his father, something he enjoyed immensely, and went on to share with his own family.

In his late twenties, Jim met and married Sally Fiedler and together they grew a large family! With five children- Regina (Gina), James, Anjeanette (Anna), Jennifer (Jenn), and Donna, then nine Grandchildren- Lauryn, Evan, Justin, Madison, Abbigail, Isaiah, Gracie, Jaxon and Aubriella. Additionally, he has some great Son-in-Laws as well- Don, Tom, and Josh! Life was very full! Jim loved to go to the basketball games, concerts, gymnastics meets, fairs, soccer games, holiday programs, plays and dance programs. His kids and grandkids were his joy! We all grew up with him having the occasional package of M &Ms in his pocket, which he called "power pills" and would take them out if he thought we "needed" a few! With the grandkids it might be an ice cream cone, a trip through Mickey Ds or Carls Jr, or whatever fun things he came up with!

Throughout his years Jim had many jobs. Probably being a salesman of a variety of products and services was the most prevalent. He owned a few businesses, managed a few businesses, bought/sold cars, invested, etc.

One of his favorite hobbies was horse camping. Jim owned a few horses of his own and spent many summer days out on the trail with family and friends. He was also an avid shooter, helping to manage his local gun club as well as competing alongside friends. Another great love was golf. He loved to play, study and always improve his game! This was a really great sport that he loved to share with family and friends!

Later in life, his greatest joy was probably spending as much time as he could with his kids and grandkids. Boy did he love kids! Family games, holidays, camping trips-he cherished them all so much! He was fun and goofy, up for most things with a smile on his face. His grandkids adored him as much as he adored them. He was always up to play dress up, read a story, or go to any extra curricular kid activities.

On January 11, 2026 Jim went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He had battled Dementia/Alzheimers for the last several years and it was his time to go be free and healthy again. Jim loved his family and friends and he loved the Lord. We love him so very much and he will be missed always and forever.

We encourage all who knew and loved Jim to please share any pictures, stories or memories you may have. We would love to hear them! A Celebration of Life is being considered for a later date. If anyone would like to make a donation in Jim's memory-please consider St Jude Children's Research Hospital. God bless you all.
