Captain James L. Claton, 71, of Chicago passed away on September 20th, 2023. James dedicated over 42 years of his life to the United States Armed Forces, serving in the Air Force, the National Guard, and the Army.
James is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Ruthie, his son Brandon and daughter Yvonne. James is also survived by his brother Robin, and his sisters, Patricia, Carol, and Charlyn.
James was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle, and his mother and father, Doris and James, as well as his siblings Carl, Frederick Sr, and Teena.
