James Coffas

Jim was a long time friend that was like family. I loved his kindness and shared his love of bridge, and occasionally laughed at his jokes. Jim will be missed. My love and hugs go out to Ruth and family during this sad time.

Jim was the father of daughter-in-law Lisa and a great role model for our children and grandchildren with his devotion to family and service to others.There is much silent testimony to his good works, loving service and gentle ways in the Columbia,SC community.We shared great memories at numerous family gatherings over the years and he will be sorely missed by all who loved him.

Jim was my law partner for many years. He was compassionate and also fun to be around. A fine man. God bless him

Jim and I were great friends and had lunch every month for many a year. I will miss our friendship. He was one of my best friends. My best wishes to Ruth and all his kids.
