James Curtis "JC" Cogburn

It is with deeply heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Curtis Cogburn, age 66, of Terrell, Texas. James, affectionately known as "JC" to his loved ones, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on January 26, 1960. He departed this world from his residence on February 6, 2026, with his loving family by his side. JC will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

A public time of gathering and visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home, located at 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX, 75087.

A celebration of life service to honor JC will follow at 2:00 PM, also in Reflections Chapel, with Dr. Russell Rogers officiating.

Independent florists are kindly asked to deliver floral arrangements directly to Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, by 12:30 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed in a timely manner.
