Lois Frances Myers Cogburn, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great

grandmother passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Jefferson Park at White Pine,

Tennessee. Born June 4, 1929, Frances was the daughter of the late Charlie and Annie

Myers. She married the love of her life Harrell Cogburn on November 1, 1950, and together

they raised five children. Frances was an excellent seamstress, homemaker and cook. She

used her cooking skills as the Parrottsville school cafeteria manager for many years. She

was a faithful member of Parrottsville United Methodist Church and remained active as

long as her health permitted. She loved her church and her church family and committed

her life to serving the Lord and studying His word. She believed, '"To whom much is given,

much is required." (Luke 12:48).

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband Harrell Cogburn,

brothers Charles Myers (Betty), Clarence Myers (Audrey), Donald Myers (Judy). She is

survived by her children Mary Anne Vick (Harry), Linda Brown (Kenny), Paul Cogburn

(Marta), Charlie Cogburn (Debi) and Carol Watts (Ricky); her grandchildren Shane Vick

(Kristie), Jarrod Vick (Kate), Kristin Deal (Jacob), Josh Brown, Jennie Treadway (Steve),

Daniel Cogburn, Whitney Lucas (Josh), and Rachel Treadway (Mark). In addition she had 12

great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Receiving of friends will be Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with

funeral service to follow at Manes Funeral Home with Pastors Roy Dalton and Jimmy Myers

officiating. Burial will be on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven

Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jarrod Vick, Josh Lucas, Daniel Cogburn, Alan Myers, Todd Blazer and

Clay Blazer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Treadway, Josh Brown and Randy Myers.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Parrottsville United Methodist

Church or the charity of your choice.

A special thank you goes to the dedicated, compassionate and loving Staff of Jefferson Park

at White Pine and Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice.

Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. Frances' kind spirit and faithful

service touched the lives of many. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will be a

treasure.
