James Edward "Ed" Colvin of Aberdeen died Monday, January 16 at Perry Point VAMC. He was 69. Born in Springfield, IL he was the son of the late Edward Colvin & Mary Lou (Burnett) Dietrich. Mr. Colvin retired after 20 years serving in the U.S. Army. He was a Charter Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus at St. Frances de Sales, Chapter 11372. He is survived by his wife Constance Bailey Colvin; son, James Colvin; step children, David Bailey of Nottingham, PA, Annette Rolfes of Edgewood and Tamara Stewart and Michelle Maloyed and husband Donald both of Aberdeen; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to either St. Frances de Sales Church, Abingdon, MD or the U.S.O.
