Mr. James C. Dailey

Seward: James C. Dailey, 72, of Markley Road died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his residence. James was born on March 14, 1940 in Schenectady,NY to the late Paul C. and Amy M. (Hoose) Dailey. James graduated from Middleburgh Central School in 1958 and went on to serve in the United States Army from 1959 until 1962. James retired as a Sergeant from the Schoharie County Sheriff's Department. He was an avid hunter and fisher. James also enjoyed gardening and he loved being outdoors. James was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Dailey, on May 5, 2010. He is survived by his sons: James Dailey of Cobleskill, NY and David (Melissa) Dailey of Cobleskill, NY; step-sons: Neil Waldron of Middleburgh, NY and Glenn (Marguerite) Waldron of Middleburgh, NY; step-daughter: Joy O'Brien of Schenectady, NY; six grandchildren: Adam Dailey of Cobleskill,NY, Ciara and Brendan O'Brien of Schenectady, NY, Alaura and Matt Lishak of Middleburgh, NY and Amelia Waldron of Middleburgh, NY. Services will be private at the family's request. Cremation will take place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady, NY.
