Mr. Darrow has been part of my life since 1970, when we moved across the street. He was the kindest person on the block, never yelled at us if we rode our bikes on the corner of his lawn.
You would always see him doing his morning run every day. He would come across the street and to talk to my mother, who´s dementia was starting to develop in her brain, he would answer all her questions....over and over again.
He was a tremendous help to us throughout the years, with our garbage cans, bring us fresh tomatoes from his garden.
I´m going to miss our daily waves or smiles.

Jim was a wonderful friend who will be greatly missed!
Jim and I were a part of a group that met at McDonald´s for coffee. We always kidded him about catching the biggest fish in Lake Michigan, and he always laughed at our not-so-funny jokes.
I will be keeping Annabelle and his family in my prayers. She was the love of his life and he was so proud of his family!
I hope to be reunited with Jim someday in the peace of Heaven.

Jim was a wonderful guy always wearing a big smile. His pleasant smile filled the room no matter where he was. So sorry to hear of this. God bless him.
