James Robert Dega, age 65, of Omro, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at Lake Shore Manor. Born on April 25, 1960, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, James was the beloved son of the late Robert and Marlene (Hoger) Dega.
James shared a loving and devoted marriage with his wife, Dawn, for over 40 years. They were united in marriage on February 22, 1985, and together they raised two wonderful children. James took immense joy in family gatherings, often spending time on the water boating and fishing, where countless memories were made. His passion for music was evident, and he cherished the unforgettable experience of seeing Bob Seger live with Dawn.
James is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Dega; his son, Mathew (Amber) Dega; his daughter, Ann Dega; his sisters, Vicki Christman and Laurie Grable; and numerous loved ones who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marlene Dega.
