I remember Jim and the entire family on the DeHart homestead in Crandon. Great memories of Jim, Duane, Dennis and Judy tending to there maple syrup boiler, day and night. I remember when Jim and Duane planted all those pine trees on the hill. Dennis and myself would take turns swiping our moms salt shaker, and sit on the hill, under the apple tree, watching cars go buy, eating those great green apples. (1956-7)? Saturday mornings, I would walk over to DeHarts to watch The Lone Ranger and The rife Man with Dennis, while Lillian (mom), would make us pancakes and maple syrup. These were some great memories. Rest in Peace Jim.
