James Edward Dismang, 75, of Elmwood, IL passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Carle Health Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

He was born on August 16, 1949, in Peoria, IL, the son of Frank and Pauline Reed Dismang

Jim was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked at Keystone Steel & Wire, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Naomi Dismang-Turner, his son, Brandon Turner, and his grandson, Julian Watson II, and his granddaughter Addison O'Reilly. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will remember him not just for his hard work, but for his kindness and the joy he brought to their lives. James was preceded in death by: Pauline Dismang, Frank Dismang
