Dad I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since you went to your heavenly home. I miss you every day and think of you every day!!! I still feel your presence and it makes me feel close to you. I love you.

Jim was a great guy! He was wonderful to my now deceased cousin, Mary Frank and I am sorry I didn't know he passed away. I certainly would have attended his service. Rest in Peace Jim

Very fond memories of Jim on Broad St. In fact I was leaving for the convent in 1967 and my brother and members of South Philly String Band came down our small street to serenade me. My mother was making meatballs to feed the band. It was a very special day. My prayers are with the family.

I have no words nor wisdom to offer THE DONAGHY FAMILY....I DO KNOW we exist for a purpose that no matter how grand or small all LIFE has meaning......I know his LIFE spent on earth was well lived, meaningful and a long Legacy that follows....sorrow&grief overflowing from your heart's....I believe that no amount of time can fill that painful void, however it will render a better understanding of LIFE, TIME, HAPPINESS....TO LIVE FOR THE PRECIOUS MOMENTS.....TO LIVE A MEANINGFUL LIFE WITH PURPOSE....AND HOPES TO EMULATE THE MAN YOU'VE HAD THE FORTUNATE BLESSING TO HAVE KNOWN......BUILD A STRONGER BOND WITH GOD.....ALLOW YOUR FAITH TO GUIDE YOU......YOU TOO LEAVE A LEGACY! What an amazing LIFE& a wonderful Man! God Bless,

I first met Jim when I worked at Food Fair and he was a truck driver for them, We talked a lot back then. I bought all my Show of Shows tickets from him. The lst time I saw him was on Broad St. in front of Hahneman Hospital and I took m,y son out to meet him. It was a big day for my son. A fine man.
