Fort Worth, Texas - Wake: Fri., 7-8:00 p.m., Aug. 3, 2023. Service: Sat., 1:00 p.m., Aug. 4, 2023. Both services to be held at Sweet home Baptist Church, 5225 Ramey Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76105.
Survivors: wife 0f 41 years, Willie Douglas; three sons, eleven grand children and 13 great grandchildren. Doug will be truly missed.

To Jewel and the Family: our thoughts and prayers are with you as you say `see you later´ to Mr. James Dewitt Douglas III. When we don´t always know what to say, we know where to go -- when our hearts are overwhelmed, go to the Rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2. David, in this Psalm, begins with a sad heart; he begins with prayers and tears but ends with songs of praise. Family, as God continues to comfort you, strengthen you and shower you with His love -- may you too, experience songs of praise in the days to come.
