Funeral services for James Tommy Dupont, Sr of Big Bend will begin at 12:00pm on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Burial will take place at the St. Catherine Catholic Cemetery in Hamburg.
Tommy Dupont, Sr., age 76, passed away at his home in Big Bend on Thursday, June 26th, 2025.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Melissa Casey (Scott), Jill Dauzat, James Dupont, Jr., Joe Dupont (Marilyn), Chris Dupont, Sr. (Kristy). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jeffrey Ellis and 11 others; and his 19 great-grandchildren. Honored to serve as his pallbearers are: James Dupont, Jr., Joseph Dupont, Christopher Dupont, Sr., Christopher Dupont, Jr., Sean Casey, and Matthew Casey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Dupont; son-in-law, Chris Dauzat, Jr.; parents, Milton, Sr. and Loney “Pete” McQuire Dupont; and his siblings, Betty Terrell, Patsy Mayeaux, Mickel Dupont, James Peter Dupont, Milton Dupont, Jr., Bobby Dupont, Dean Dupont, and Lonie Dupont.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 12:00pm on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
