I met Rick when my son, Mark, worked at Pinnacle Bank in Murfreesboro. I immediately fell in love with this youngster. Im at a loss for words right now. My high school friend. Im so glad we stayed in touch. Even though we had a difference in our teams. Lol. I will always think of you when I see that orange T!! Always will remember that smile. Prayers for your family!!! Never forgotten!

So Sorry for Yalls loss..He was a good guy..Ain't seen him in over 30 years..God Bless..

Hard to believe you are gone..my heart breaks...Peace for Ashley and family...I will think of you from our days in high school playing basketball...I will think of you when I'm trying to make cornbread the southern way and not the New York way...fried chicken meatloaf...so many memories to hold dear to my heart...love New York...

James Richard "Rick"'s Obituary

James Richard "Rick" Earp, age 56 of Smyrna died Monday April 6, 2020 at his home. He was a native of Murfreesboro and was preceded in death by his wife Joy Earp. Mr. Earp had attended Living Springs Baptist Church and had worked for the Lee Company. He was veteran of United States Navy, and a VOL for life.

He is survived by his daughter Ashley Crader and fiancé Shane Burns of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Aiden Dickens, and Adalynn Burns.

Memorials made be made to Woodfin Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
