James Albert Eastman was born in Sawyer on Oct. 7, 1949. He passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 76.
Jim was a semi-driver for 30 years and a firefighter for 15 years. He loved traveling with his grandchildren and farming with his sons.
Jim was married to Beverly for 55 years. They share three children: Todd (fianceé, Holly), Scott (wife, Kristia), and Timmy. He had four grandchildren: Omar, Fanny, Kaniya and Tori and one great-grandson; Khalil, plus a town full of others that affectionately called him grandpa Jim. He is also survived by his siblings: Caroline, Joyce, Ed and Mark (wife, Kathy) and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in passing by his parents: Donald and Martha Eastman and his siblings: Linda, Terry and Donald.
The family will welcome friends beginning at noon on Saturday, April 11, at their home at 52664 67 1/2 Street, Hartford.
