James Alfred Edmonds (Jamie)

Passed peacefully at home due to complications of pneumonia.
He was a proud Christian man that was a devoted member to his church Dandridge Full Gospel Ministries. He always was the first there to open the church doors and greet everyone and invite them to worship with him Jesus Christ his savior to whom he is with now.
He enjoyed watching baseball and loved his RC colas and always tried to make you laugh. He will be missed by many.
Proceeded in death by the mother of his children, Dorothy Edmonds; son, David Edmonds; mother and father, Robert Edmonds and Nancy Hale; brothers, Frankie, Melvin, Paul, Billy Joe, Junior; and sister, Agnes Sum.
Survived by son, Allen Edmonds; daughter, Beth Ann and son-in -law, Abdellatif El Ayadi; grandson, Josh and wife Tianna; granddaughters, Rachel and husband Kyle Pearson, Jillian and her husband Nico Caruthers; great-grandchildren, Theodore Pearson, Alice Edmonds, Winnie and Denise Caruthers; also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life service for Jamie at the Dandridge Full Gospel Ministries on the Saturday of August 24, 2024 at 2pm when Pastor Troy Duncan will speak in remembrance of Jamie. The family will be there at 1pm to receive friends before the service and after which the women of the church will serve refreshments.
The family would like to thank Farrar Funeral Home for taking care of dad and his cremation and helping with the arrangements and where there will not be a viewing or graveside service.
The family would like to thank everyone for all thoughtful condolences and to Thank the church for taking care of the service.
