James Gordon Egan

James Gordon "Jim" Egan, 74 of Bellevue, KY, passed away on December 19th, 2025 at Cedars of Lebanon Rehabilitation & Nursing Care in Lebanon, OH. Jim was born on October 15, 1951 in Covington, Ky to John "Jack" and Norma Egan of Bellevue, KY. Jim was a graduate of Newport Central Catholic High School and he was a Navy Veteran. He was an excellent artist and could fix anything. Jim was loved by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his children Elizabeth Brooks (Ernest) of Dayton, KY, and Brian Egan (Mandi) of Harrison, OH, and his sisters Jackie Vann (Tom) of Ft. Thomas, KY, Joyce Guilkey (Mark) of Bellevue, KY, and brother-in-law John "Butch" Griswold of Wilder, KY. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nicollette Haire, Noelle Smith (Jacob), Nolan Brooks (Paige), and Brody Egan as well as great grandsons Jace and Reed (Junior) Haire and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Rebecca Egan and sister Judith Griswold. Please send memorials and donations to Hospice of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Veterans Hospital. The family will hold a private celebration of life at their convenience.
