Here I sit all brokenhearted, thought I had to poop but only farted. After a lifetime of farts, James Andrew Everett, Jr flagellated for the final time on Sunday, April 14. As you can guess, he was a fan of the simple fart and poop joke. James first farted into this world on March 3, 1933, to James and Irene Everett. In 1952, James married Ethel Latterman. In 1953, shortly after the birth of their firstborn son, James was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served as a combat medic and ENT technician. He says he even checked the ears of President Lyndon Baines Johnson. He retired exactly 20 years to the day from the military.
James was preceded in death by sons, Michael Everett and James "Jimbo" Everett III; his wife Ethel; sisters Mary Norling and Leah Dixon. He is survived by his son, Jon Everett; daughters, Vanessa Everett and Laura Seaton; grandchildren Gary Faulkenberry, Anthony Everett, Richard Teal, Howard Teal, Elizabeth Seaton, and Ivan Everett; great-grandchildren Rahne Teal, James Teal, Julian Teal, and Claudia Teal; great-great-grandchildren Oliver Teal and Annabel Teal.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 1 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South
Visitation at 11:30 am
Funeral at 12:30 pm
Interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 pm
