James Faubion Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by MeadowLawn Funeral Home, Crematory and Cemetery on Oct. 8, 2023.
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, James C. Faubion, gained his heavenly wings on October 6, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Paul Faubion Sr. and Maxine Gwendolyn White on February 26, 1949 in Amarillo, Texas.
James began working at a young age. He held various jobs throughout his years, and was always good with his hands. He would complete many home improvement projects which ultimately led him the industry of real estate. James would repair homes and resell them to earn a profit. While James was able to work, he helped to care and supported many, especially his family. Many depended on him, as he was a provider and comforter to many close relatives.
James was a loving father and grandfather, and a devoted husband. He was family oriented and loved his children. There were times he would put in the extra effort to travel and visit his children and grandchildren. His presence meant a lot to them all.
In his spare time, he would peacefully enjoy watching cowboy movies, watching his grandkids sports games, and traveling to New Mexico to visit Angel Fire in the mountains. These special moments always brought peace and joy to him. James will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was greeted in heaven by his parents, and his brother: Paul Faubion Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Hernandez, of 25 years; his children: Chris Faubion (Jessica), Shelby Faubion, Jerry Boehm (Teresa), James Boehm (Norma), Linda Rebolloso (Jose Luis), Isabel Garza, Richard Vincent III, and Roy Vincent (Liliana); 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will begin on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 5-8pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 5611 E. Houston St., San Antonio, Texas 78220.
