James "Jim" Allen Fields, 61, of Bedford, Indiana, died on November 28, 2025 at IU Health Bedford Hospital. Jim was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to Harold Martin Fields, Jr. and Elizabeth Jane (Parsons) Fields on February 18, 1964. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1982 and served in the United States Air Force. He was married to Cheryl Lynn Wilkes from 1988 to 2008 and fathered two daughters, Julia Margaret Fields and Amanda Lynn Fields. Jim worked at Hubler Chevrolet in Bedford as a Leasing and Consulting Agent for the past 14 years. Outside of work, Jim enjoyed watching racing, football, baseball and other sports and greatly valued his role as a parent and grandparent (PawPaw).

Jim is survived by his children, Julia (Kaleb) Blubaugh of Springville and Amanda (James) Klyczek of Bloomington, brothers Harold Myron Fields of Akron, Ohio, and Joseph Franklin Fields of Las Vegas, Nevada, and grandchildren Kymber Eve Blubaugh and Atticus James Klyczek.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life and placement in Valhalla Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice.

I want to express my deepest condolences to the family of Jim Fields for Jim and I were friends and he sold me my trk and every time I got oil change I visited him and I texted him messages every morning .
