Jim "Pops" Friggle, age 69, of
Aurora, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2025. He was born on July 28, 1956, in Seminole, Oklahoma, Jim was the beloved son of Lloyd and Betty (Pipkin) Friggle.
Jim dedicated over four decades of his life to Hiland Dairy, where he served in numerous roles with unwavering commitment and integrity. He began his career as an assistant to the drivers and steadily worked his way up, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues throughout the company.
On March 29, 1974, Jim married the love of his life, Diana Angus, at Aurora Baptist Temple. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two children, Brandt and Ashley Friggle, who were the pride and joy of his heart.
Known affectionately as "Pops," Jim was a devoted father and grandfather. His presence was a constant source of support and encouragement, he never missed a game, recital, or event, even when his health made it difficult. His love for his family was evident in every hug, cheer, and quiet moment shared.
Jim was also a cherished member of Engage Church, where he served faithfully in many capacities over the years, from elder to coffee bar volunteer. He was a founding member of the "OFC," a group of mature men in the church who prayed, served, and their experience help guide and shape other ministries in the church.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Diana Friggle of
Aurora, Missouri; his son, Brandt Friggle, and wife Tori, of
Aurora, Missouri; his daughter, Ashley Friggle, of Republic, Missouri; three grandsons, Caelum Friggle and wife Emily, of Republic, Missouri, Daegan Friggle and wife Paige, of Pierce City, Missouri and Jaesik Friggle and fiancée Mallorie Schmidt, of
Aurora, Missouri; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Day and husband Justin of
Aurora, Missouri and Braely Friggle of
Aurora, Missouri; one great-grandbaby arriving in the Spring; two brothers, Mike Friggle and wife Karen and Mark Friggle and wife Melanie and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Betty Friggle, and his sister, Brenda Friggle.
Pops leave behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. He will be deeply missed by his family, church community, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Please join us in Pop's Celebration of life at Engage Church 16 W. Olive (Old Princess Theater), on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by his celebration of life starting at 11:00 a.m.
In Lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Ekidz program at Engage church. This will help give scholarships to area youth to participate in summer church camp. The youth was always a big part of Pop's heart. Every year he would sponsor youth that could not afford to go and volunteer to drive them to camp.
