Dale Ralph Collins, age 70, of Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He was born on December 5, 1954, in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, the son of Ralph and Barbara (Smith) Collins.
Dale lived a life marked by dedication to his family and professional pursuits. He was a devout Christian who had a natural bent to theology and teaching. With his wife, Joy, he homeschooled their children.
Dale earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Montclair State College, laying the foundation for a career defined by precision and innovation. He went on to work at Lockheed Martin in Moorestown for 15 years, contributing his skills and knowledge to one of the nation's leading aerospace and defense companies.
Dale is remembered by his wife of 40 years, Joy M. (nee Crouch) Collins; his children, Jason Matthew Collins and his wife, Amy, Joshua Luke Collins and his wife Rachel Elizabeth and Rachel Johanna Smith and her husband, Kenneth; four grandchildren and his sister, Patricia Collins.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Collins, mother Barbara Smith Collins, and son Jeremy Mark Collins.
A funeral service under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with burial to follow at Calton Cemetery.
A memorial Service will be held on October 3, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Converge Church 802 N. Lenola Rd., Moorestown, New Jersey 08057.
