Anisa R. King

Anisa R. King, the daughter of Alice M. King and the late Baron A. King was born on September 4, 1967. She passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL, at the age of 57.
Anisa received her education in the Fairfield Township public school system and graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in the class of 1985. She attended Montclair State College and continued her studies at Cumberland County College.
Anisa was employed with the Vineland State School, working in a group home for many years. She also worked for the United States Postal Service until she began her career as a Senior Correction Officer in 1998 at South Woods State Prison in Bridgeton, N.J., and retired.
Anisa belonged to Union Baptist Temple and Christlike Ministries of Deliverance. Niecy had a genuine spirit of giving and helping wherever she could. She enjoyed shopping from sunup to sundown, mall to mall. Her zest for life, as she would often be traveling and vacationing. She also had a great enthusiasm for event planning. Her ultimate passion was spending time with her grandchildren, giving them advice, morals, and values.
Niecy will be missed, but her Spirit will live on in the hearts of those who love her. She leaves to cherish her; Mother, Alice M. King of Bridgeton; two brothers, Byron King of Pittsgrove Twp. NJ, Derek King (Marian) of Bridgeton, NJ; one sister Beth Wright of Millville, NJ; two children, Javan L. Harris and Breana M. King of Vineland, NJ; six grandchildren, Izabella D. Villanueva, Arianna M. Harris, Zachary L. Harris, Kaeden I. King, Khami J. King and Kyni M. King; four very special God children; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by; her father, Baron A. King and her brother, Timothy R. King.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12th at Christlike Ministries of Deliverance International Inc., 1520 S. Orchard Rd. Vineland, NJ at 12 NOON. Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM to 12 NOON prior to the service. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park, 680 Fordville Rd. following the service.
