Deborah R. DeShields

Deborah, Renée DeShields, 65, transitioned from earth to reward on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Born on February 18, 1960 she was the fourth child of the late Rev. and Mrs. Isaac and Christine Deshields. She was educated in the Bridgeton public school system and graduated from Cumberland regional high school in June 1980. She was notary public and registrar for the township of Fairfield for 23 years until she retired in 2023. She was a member of the Wesley memorial AME Zion church, where her father Rev. Isaac Deshields Sr. was pastor, now under leadership of her brother Rev. W Wayne Deshields.
She is survived by two brothers Rev. Wayne of Millville and Elliott (Vivian) of Clayton, two sisters, Vanessa Logan (Arnett) and Belinda Holloway (Kevin), both of Millville, one sister-in-law, Deborah C. DeShields of Vineland, one Aunt, Ida, Lowe of Sicklerville and a host of nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Wesley Memorial AME Zion Church, 582 Morton Ave., Rosenhayn, NJ at 11 AM. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website, www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
