White House resident James "Jimmy" Gilbert, Jr., age 66, died at home on July 17, 2025. James Gilbert, Sr. and Ruth Ann Dobb Gilbert welcomed him into the world on January 31, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia. Jimmy loved to hunt, enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing bingo, and was a huge Tennessee Titans fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, their caregiver for many years. He is survived by his daughters; Amy Hafer (Wesley), Richmond, VA and Ashley Morris, OK; brothers, Charles Arthur Gilbert (Barbara), Madison, TN and Joseph Peyton Gilbert, Mechanicsville, VA; sister, Sharon Nester, Richmond, VA; a niece and nephew; 2 grandchildren. He will be truly missed.
A celebration of life will take place at Seven Points Campground,1810 Stewarts Ferry, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 (Lot #27), on Friday, October 24, 2025, starting at 5:00 p.m
