James Grimes, Jr., 67, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 29, 2025.
James was born on June 26, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama, to James and Donnella Grimes. He grew up in Birmingham and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, remaining a devoted Alabama football fan throughout his life. After retiring from Vulcan Materials, James devoted himself to caring for his parents with love and dedication.
