Mr. James Carl Gunnin, 89, of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his residence. Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with his care.
Mr. Gunnin was retired from St. Joe Paper Company.
Mr. Gunnin is preceded in death by his father Lawrence Gunnin; mother Icey Gunnin; brother R.C. Gunnin; sister Mary Ellen Roberts; and grandson Jess Bates.
He is survived by his wife Francis Gunnin; step-daughter Cynthia Bates; granddaughters Mallory Bates and Morgan Bates; great-granddaughter Iris Lance; great-grandson Fenton Lance; nephew Larry Gunnin (Gina); niece Pamela Burkart (Tom); and multiple great nieces and nephews along with a multitude of friends.
Services: A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
