JAMES, age 62, September 30, 2023. Loving son of the late Joseph and Anna Hakun. Dear brother of Joseph (Maria) Hakun John Hakun and Joan (Henry) Itzi; uncle of John Mark Hakun, Jonathan and Mitchell Hakun and Eric and Jennifer Itzi; also survived by many cousins.
Jim was a history buff with a emphasis on WW II. He enjoyed watching the Turner Classic Movies Channel and any old TV Shows. He also liked to collect and trade sports memorabilia.
Was totally loyal to Notre Dame Football and enjoyed watching International Soccer, especially English teams.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Thursday morning, October 5th, 9:00 to 9:45 A.M. at Stella Maris Church, 10th and Bigler Streets. The Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 A.M.
Interment will be private.
