James Halasz Obituary

James Halasz age 80 of Waynesville passed away Sunday, September 25th at his residence. He was born in Webberville, MI on April 4, 1925 to the late Joseph and Mary Csercsa Halasz. He served in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Ford Motor Company and later moved to Waynesville where he resided for 16 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Marian Halasz; six sons James m. and his wife Deborah Halasz of Stauton, VA, Thomas and his wife Helen Halasz of Gainsville, FL, Ronald and his wife Cathy Halasz of Tecumseh, MI, Charles and his wife Rita Halasz of Tipton, MI, Paul and his wife Linda Halasz of Jackson, MI, and David and his wife Dalva Halasz of Brooklyn, MI; one sister Mary Feddersen of Standish, MI; and ten grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass Service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2005 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church with the Father Frank Doyle officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Owen Heart Center c/o Mission Hosptial 509 Biltmore Avenue Asheville, NC 28801 or to the American Heart Association Memorials and Tributes Processing Center PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.

we had the priviledge of knowing marion and jim since 2001. jim was a fine man whom i depended on for help in running the homeowners assoc. jim was always there. he never let me down. jerrel and i will pray for jim and marion and the rest of the family. jim rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.
