James Hartz Obituary

Mr. Hartz lived in Atlanta for a while before making his home on Tybee Island, GA in 1997. He was a real estate investor, and enjoyed collecting antiques, and playing his guitar. He was most proud of his 50-year chip he received from A.A.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Valerie Craven Hartz, son, Wolfgang Hartz, and daughter, Jessie Rose Hartz, all of Tybee Island. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Wolfe, and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Greenwich Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made to A.A., or a local food bank.
