James Harvey Obituary

A native Californian, he was the son of Frederick Harvey and Doreen Harvey. He was an educator of 40 years in the Little Lake City School District.
He is survived by his Wife of 51 years, Nina Thomas Harvey; his children Erin Thomas Johnson and Frederic Ivor Harvey; sister Sheila Dressen; grandchildren Cole Craig Dunkleberger, Tyler Reed Harvey and Reese Anne Harvey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park for their care of Mr. Harvey.

I worked with Craig for several years. The qualities I really appreciated in him were his friendliness, calmness, and willingness to help others. I could count on him whenever needed. We use to talk about our families a lot. You could tell he loved his family. He use to remind me that whatever he would do I would follow. He was big booster of his kids with their sports and I ended up doing the same. He was an early user of the Apple Mac computer and he introduced me to the Mac which I still use today. The memories of Craig will bring comfort to all that knew him.

Very sad to hear this news. I went to school with Craig all the way to high school. He was truly a real fine person. He was always smiling and brought a lot of energy to his role as a high school cheer leader.

To Nina and the family - Craig was a good and dear friend. I will miss those long walks of discovery and rock hunting on the beach at Jalama with him. You have our prayers and support!
