James Lee Hausserman, 80, of Vermilion, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at his home.
He was born September 4, 1945 in Ionia, Michigan and had been a Vermilion resident since 1984, moving from St. Joseph, MI.
Jim worked in sales and enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy (nee White) Hausserman; his daughters, Jody (Michael) Fitzgerald and Cindy (Daniel) Kellman; grandchildren, Jacob Fitzgerald, Carlie Fitzgerald, Benjamin Kellman, and Madelyn Kellman; and siblings, Pete Hausserman, Jack Hausserman, Gaye Stedman, Laurie McPherson, Phillip Hausserman, Steve Hausserman, Doug Hausserman, and Anne Hoekstra.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Ann Hausserman; parents, Gaylord and Velma (nee Schipper) Hausserman; and his siblings, William Hausserman and Linda Hausserman.
Private services were held.
