James Haynes Obituary
Jimmy was born June 15, 1934, and was the son of the late John and Virginia Haynes of Barnardsville, NC.
Jimmy was a United States Army Veteran.
He leaves behind three sisters, Elizabeth Jones and husband Opal, Francis Jarrett and Carolyn Taylor; sons, Stan Haynes and his wife Lori, Keith Haynes and Tim Haynes; granddaughter Amanda Young and husband Kevin; grandson Jacob Haynes; and step-son, Kent Kelly and his wife, Kasey.
The family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the funeral service following at 12:30 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Billy King will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery in Black Mountain.
