James Charles High Sr., a man who dedicated 26 years of his life in service to United States Army, has sadly passed away. Born on May 1, 1952, James was known not only for his commitment but also for being a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
His personality left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Described as outgoing and a straight shooter, James never said goodbye; instead, he would simply exclaim "out," reflecting his unique and memorable way of parting with others.
His presence will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his beloved wife, Shelia High; his sons, James High, Jr and Joseph High, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sisters, Hattie Walker and Emma Cleaver. They will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Friends and loved ones are invited to attend the viewing and funeral service in honor of James Charles High Sr. The viewing will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on July 18, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at the same location starting at 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM.
James's legacy of love, dedication, and unique charm will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
