James Brown, Jr. (Jamie), age 65, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully at home with his wife Shauna Brown and family by his side on May 16, 2025. He was born on February 17, 1960, in Garland Texas, to James Brown, Sr., and Jewel Smith Brown Mills.
James is preceded in death by his father, James Brown, Sr.; mother, Jewel Smith Brown Mills; wife, Nancy Ann Fritz Brown; stepdaughter, Delinda Mcabe; and niece, Krystal Pickering.
James is survived by his wife, Shauna Brown of Kemp, Texas; sisters, Jeanie House, Joanie Thompson; children, Jennifer Brown, James Brown, III; stepchildren, Vanessia and husband Dusty LaRue; Jacky and wife Tiffany Fritz, Wendy Dalton; grandchildren, Lauren Shelton, Crystal Smith and Willie Foster, Leon and Stephine Smith, Kalon, Amry, Jackson and Jefferson Fritz, Jennifer Mcabe, Brittany Powell, Layla and Abel Langley; great-grandchildren, Anthony Waymire, Cadin and Corbin Smith, Eleni Valencia, Leon Smith, Jr., Paige and Haven Mathis, Cameron and Chloe Seiter, Ryan and Owen Powell, Gracee, Nolan and Colton Foster; nephew, Joey Batson; good friends, Charlotte and Ben Golob; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones. Jamie was greatly loved by his extended family and closest friends!
