James "Jamie" Wynn, born on March 15, 1972, in Corning, Iowa, passed away on August 13, 2025, at his home in Waterloo, Nebraska. He was a cherished father, son, brother, and friend, known for his kind spirit and dedication to his family.
Jamie graduated from Corning High School in the Class of 1990 and went on to build a successful career as an Outside Sales Representative for Christensen Lumber, where he worked for 16 years. His commitment to his job was evident, as he built strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.
Jamie is survived by his three beloved children: son Zachary James Wynn of Houston, Texas, daughter Amanda Christen (Deantione) Carter of Houston, Texas, and son Andrew Scott Wynn of Houston, Texas. He also took great joy in his granddaughter, Chloe Noelle Carter.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: brother John Wynn of Corning, Iowa, sister Kimberly (Brett) Pegg of Prescott, Iowa, and sister Debra (Kyle) James of Blue Mound, Illinois. Jamie leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jackie, and his brother, Matthew Wynn.
A Graveside Service will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Corning, Iowa, on August 23, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM., with Mr. Larry Johnson, officiant. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Floating Vine in Corning, Iowa, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the same day. Jamie's family invites all who knew him to join in honoring his memory and celebrating his life.
