James L. “Jimmy” Jarrett, 68, of Albany, GA died December 1, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Nixon will officiate.
Jimmy was born in Albany, GA on September 19, 1956 to Leldon and Santa Marie Jarrett. He was raised in Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School in 1974. Jimmy was employed with The Marine Corps Logistic Base as a Mechanical Supervisor and retired in 2020.
Jimmy was a member of the Sportsman Club and The Loyal Order of The Moose #1285. He loved to fish, both fresh and salt water, especially the flats.
Survivors include his wife, Patti L. Jarrett of Albany, GA, his children, Jamie (fiancée, Jessica Way) of Macon, GA and Megan Jarrett of Albany, GA, a brother, Tommy (Connie) Jarrett of Albany, Ga and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
