Jeffrey Jarrett II

Jeffrey F. Jarrett II, 40, of Fannettsburg, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Born November 11, 1985 in Chambersburg, PA, he was a son of Jeffrey F. and Rebecca Jarrett.

Jeff attended Fannett Metal High School and worked as a logger with his father. Jeff loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting game, mushroom hunting, and fishing. He was happiest in the woods and spent much of his life surrounded by the mountains and forests he loved.

Jeff is survived by his fiancé Jessica Ellis, a daughter Emily Jarrett, his parents, Jeffrey and Rebbecca Jarret, a sister, Amber (Ryan) Boyd, two nieces, Kenzie and Alexis Boyd, a nephew Brayden Boyd, and grandmother, Barbara Jarrett. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeffrey L. Jarrett.

Above all else, Jeff loved his daughter Emily and treasured the time he spent with her. He also cared deeply for his nieces and nephew.

A funeral service will be 12:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg, PA. There will be a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Stenger Hill Cemetery, Fort Loudon, PA.
