James Jenkins Obituary
Mr. James Edward Jenkins, 55, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his residence. Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with his care.
Mr. Jenkins is preceded in death by his mother Paula Jenkins; grandparents Marjorie & Hollis Prescott and Lorene & James Jenkins; sons Koty Henslee, Zac Aaron, and Logan Cooner.
He is survived by his wife Christy Lee Jenkins; father James William Jenkins & wife Vicky; daughter Madison Elizabeth Cooner; sons Matthew Taylor Burgess and Johnny Ray Ferguson; brothers Michael Jenkins, Eric Atkins, Ben Atkins, and Devin Atkins; mother-in-law Janice Tidwell; father-in-law Lee Tidwell and wife Louise; brother-in-law Brad Tidwell & wife Amanda; grandsons Jase Burgess, Eli Ferguson, and Drake Farris; granddaughters Aubrey Aaron and Holly Farris.
Pall Bearers will be James Kilgore, Donald Snow, Taylor Heary, Ben Atkins, Tracey Estill, Devin Atkins, Eric Atkins, and Jonathan Dunsford.
Services: Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Sam Hood Memorial Chapel, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Jonathon Todd and David Cranford will officiate.
