James Jensen, 72, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away at home with family by his side April 27.
He was born to Lewis and Jane (Waggoner) Jensen. He married Kim Geissler.
He is survived by his wife, Kim; two daughters, Nicole Jensen and Sara Brownell; son, Josh (Kay) Del Sol; two estranged sons; five grandchildren, Kallie Tuckwab, Taylor Woody (Cody Stolt), Jordan Woody, Jango and Pepper Del Sol; three great-grandchildren, Jade, Kullen and Emilia; sister, Kathy Jensen; brother, Larry Jensen; two sisters-in-law, Pat Neal and Karen Schroeder and brother-in-law, Gary (Judy) Geissler; several nieces and nephews; and his special four-legged buddy, Kylo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by brothers Louis, Donny, Willis, Ted and Bob Handt.
The family would like to thank the third floor staff at Mayo, you were the best. Interim Hospice, thank you for the care and compassion we received.
A memorial service will be held for James at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 13 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy., Altoona. A visitation period will take place from 4 p.m. until the service.
Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared at cremationsociety-wi.com.
