James William “Jim” Grother, 60, of Raeford, NC was born September 18, 1964 in De Moines, Iowa and passed away June 28, 2025 in FirstHealth Hospice House in West End, NC.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Grother, Sr. and his in-laws James and Marilyn Shillings whom he loved very well.
Jim was an avid fisherman and skilled hunter who enjoyed the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and had a special passion for his children. Most of all, Jim adored his Lord and Savior and attending Rock Fish Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Grother; his children; Jaxon, Savana, Anna, Abi, and Karen; his mother; Margie W. Grother; two brothers; John Grother, Jr. and Jeff Grother; one sister; Gloria Grother and a host of extended family and friends.
