James Michael Harazim
December 31, 1957 – August 15, 2025

James Michael Harazim, 67, of New Lenox, Illinois, passed away at home on August 15, 2025, in the loving care of his life partner, Delilah Cech. Jim was a skilled fabricator and welder by trade. After retiring, Jim cherished his time divided between New Lenox and Friendship, Wisconsin, where he and Delilah built a life together.

Jim was a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Bears fan who enjoyed many conversations about sports with his brother, Frank. He also loved fishing, golfing, and bike riding with his life partner. He spent many years pursuing photography as a favorite pastime. Jim and Delilah also created countless memories and lasting friendships at a favorite local gathering place in Friendship, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his beloved life partner, Delilah Cech, his dear friend, Larry Talbot; his brother Frank (Jane); nephew Frankie (Stacy); Rick Zonts (Rachel); and grandnephews Nicholas, Anthony, Reese, and Ryan. He is also survived by his Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Jim Paynok, lifelong friends from Illinois, and many friends from his time in Friendship, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Friday August 22, 2025 from 3:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm.
