James "Jim" Savedge, age 89, of Clarkston, Michigan, passed away on September 2, 2025. Born on April 29, 1936, in Pontiac, MI, to the late Henry and Florence Savedge. Jim was the husband of Carol, the father of Larry (Debra), and the grandpa of Shannon (Pete). Also, stepfather of Tim (Laura), Tammy (Brett), and Wade(Andi) Swalwell. Bonus grandchildren are Cody, Josh (Noelle), Jamie, Ty, Addison, Kaley, Caden, Tanner, and great-grandson Jordan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence; father, Henry; and brother, Ben.
Jim was employed for 33 years at Detroit Broach, and after his retirement there, he worked at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home for 10 years.
Jim’s wishes were to be cremated and buried with his mother in Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
