James "Jimmy" Michael Evans, 62, of Middlesex passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, peacefully at his home and went to be with his Savior. The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, September 25, 2024 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Peele Evans of the home; daughter, Debbie Lindlow and husband, Bud of Pikeville; son, Michael Evans and wife, Michelle of Youngsville; grandchildren, CJ, Ray, Ben, Hudson and Will Evans all from Youngsville and Kayla Evans and Noah Lindlow both from Pikeville; sister, Ramona Evans Hathaway of Middlesex; very special friend, Roger Rogers of Middlesex, along with his son, Michael they shared the passion of fishing; and his sister’s grandson, Bryson Hathaway of Zebulon and his lovable pets, Callie, Max and Kenly and his sister’s dog, Buddy. James leaves many friends he has made over his sixty-two years here along with many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Evans Rodriquez.
