James Joseph Lewis, Sr. of Aston, passed away peacefully on Feb. 26 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Our father was a kind soul, always helping friends and family in need, always opening his doors to anyone who needed a place to stay. We will miss his laughter, always making a joke and love to tell stories of the old days about family and friends. Rest in peace sweet father, you will be forever in our hearts. James served in the Army with a rank of Sergeant spec5 1968-70 and received National defense service medal, good conduct medal, expert M-14 and sharpshooter M-16 certifications. Son of the late Joseph & Caroline Lewis Devoted husband of Kathy (Nee Drulyk) Lewis, loving father of James J. Jr. (Theresa) Lewis, Steven (Jennifer) Lewis, Stefanie (Don) Lewis, Michael (Asley) Lewis. Gathering: Relatives & Friends are invited to the memorial service on Saturday March 5th 9:30 – 10:45 am at the D'anjolell – Stigale memorial Home of Aston 3260 Concord Rd. Aston. Funeral Service: 11 AM in our main chapel Interment: Private In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations will go directly to the Danjolell – Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Road Aston, Pa. 19014 in memory of James J Lewis Sr. or use our link @https://www.danjolell.com/resources/family-pay/ please contact the funeral home to confirm Condolences can be made at www.danjolell.com
