James T. Joseph, of Millsboro, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Delaware, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on November 2, 1933, at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Delaware, he was the son of the late Theodore and Gertrude Joseph.

Jim is survived by his wife of 23 years, Barbara; his sister, Ruth Johnson of Georgetown, Delaware; and his three children: Cynthia Thornhill of Lockport, New York; Robert Joseph of Garner, North Carolina; and William Joseph of Wilmington, North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jim graduated from Rehoboth High School in 1951 and Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy and later retired from Moore Business Forms before settling back in Millsboro, Delaware. During the summers, he enjoyed collecting entrance fees at Cape Henlopen State Park. Additionally, Jim worked as an accountant at Mountaire Poultry Plant before finally retiring. He loved recording his favorite music, relaxing on his front porch with his favorite cigar, and watching the wildlife. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE 19966, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation beginning at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Conley's United Methodist Church, 33106 Jolyns Way Lewes, Delaware 19958.
