James Kaspar, 93, of Loveland, passed away on April 28, 2010. He was born on a farm on September 17, 1916 in Jennings, Kansas to Charlie and Lillie (Fiala) Kaspar. He attended a one room country school house near Jennings, Kansas. James married Annie Pachner on January 12, 1941 in Oberlin, Kansas. They lived in Colorado Springs before moving to Loveland in 1996. He farmed in western Kansas until 1955 when they moved to Colorado Springs where James worked as an equipment operator for the public utilities department. He was a member of Z.C.B.J. James enjoyed his grandkids. He loved fixing anything for the kids. He enjoyed farming and gardening. He loved feeding wild animals. He loved watching sports. James is survived by his wife, Ann Kaspar of Loveland, Colorado; sons, Jim Kaspar and wife Ginny of Parker, Colorado, Rodney Kaspar and wife Sherri of Kersey, Colorado; daughter, Wanda Kaspar of Fort Collins, Colorado; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2010 at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland. The burial is at Loveland Burial Park followed by a reception in Allnutt's Reception Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Christian Academy, VFW, or a charity of your choice in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
