James Wallace Keeble, 86, of Columbus, GA died Friday, May 17, 2024 at Opal's Personal Care Home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
James Wallace was born February 14, 1938 in Fairfax, AL son of the late Earl Cortez Keeble and Lucy Nell Bartlett. Wallace "Wally" graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Technical Engineering and spent most of his life working in the textile industry. He loved golf, playing Gin Rummy with his friends, and the Atlanta Braves.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jeff Keeble; daughter-in-law, Luann Keeble; brother, Dennis Keeble; and longtime companion, Judy Barron.
Survivors include his sons, Blake Keeble (Tina) Columbus, GA, Scott Keeble of Hogansville, GA; grandchildren, Melissa Hale (Gus) of Hogansville, GA, Mallory Sbrilli (Alex) of Orlando, FL; great grandchildren, Jacob Wolf, Skylar Dixon, Loftin Blake Sbrilli; siblings, Virginia Bittinger (Kevin) of Fayetteville, GA, Gary Keeble of Dalton, GA; numerous other beloved family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Opal's Personal Care Home, 100 Oakridge Dr, LaGrange, GA 30240.
